ATTEND THE WEST ALLIS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION MIXER THIS THURSDAY
The City of West Allis Planning Office invites you to a neighborhood association informal gathering on Thursday, September 22, from 6 to 7 p.m. (with the option to stay post 7 p.m. for questions) to discuss the status of your neighborhood associations, to learn more about starting or reviving one. The purpose of the meeting will be to introduce the Planning & Zoning office, check-in and see how your association is doing, get a glimpse of any recent projects, current and/or future ideas for your neighborhoods on the horizon. The meeting will also be informational, for those wanting to learn from others about the process of starting a neighborhood association. The City wants to connect/reconnect with you and offer the resources to help you succeed. For example, we offer a couple different grants to help you organize (or re-organize) and an annual focus grant of up to $1,500.
Feel free to bring a neighbor/friend and spread the word. The meeting location is the West Allis-West Milwaukee Rec Department, located at 2450 S. 68 St. in the multi-purpose room (Room 151). For more information, you may email planning@westalliswi.gov or call the Planning Office at 414-302-8460.
