Cousins Subs has announced a partnership with Crooked Creek Food Pantry to address hunger in Indianapolis. From November 7 to November 21, the public is invited to bring nonperishable food items to the Cousins Subs location at 9321 N. Michigan Road for a dedicated food drive.
To launch the initiative, Cousins Subs will hold a Donation Day on November 7 from 2 to 7 p.m., during which 15% of sales will be contributed to Crooked Creek Food Pantry.
Participants who donate three nonperishable food items will receive a certificate for a free 7.5-inch sub on their next visit.
Crooked Creek Food Pantry has identified several high-need items including peanut butter, dried pasta, spices like black pepper and garlic powder, canned fruits and vegetables, boxed macaroni and cheese, and canned meats such as tuna, chicken, or salmon.
This effort is part of Cousins Subs' ongoing commitment through its Make It Better Foundation. "At Cousins Subs, we’re deeply invested in the well-being of the communities we serve," said Justin McCoy, vice president of marketing at Cousins Subs. "Partnering with Crooked Creek Food Pantry allows us to make a direct impact by providing meals to those in need, and we’re excited to see the community come together for such an important cause."
Further details can be found on Crooked Creek Food Pantry’s website or by visiting Cousins Subs at College Park during the drive.
