Tre Norman will transfer to the Milwaukee Panthers men’s basketball team for the upcoming season, head coach Bart Lundy announced on April 27.

Norman’s addition is significant as he brings experience from his three seasons at Marquette and a background as a top-100 national recruit. The Milwaukee Panthers men’s basketball team represents University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee athletics, according to the official website.

“We are so excited to add Tre to our 2026 recruiting class,” Lundy said. “His experience in the Big East conference will be invaluable. Tre is an exceptional leader, and people will be shocked at his production here at Milwaukee. He is a terrific addition to our campus community, and we are thrilled to keep him in the city of Milwaukee.”

Norman has played in 94 collegiate games with Marquette, averaging 2.2 points and 1.4 rebounds over an average of 8.7 minutes per game during his career there. In the most recent season, he appeared in 30 out of Marquette’s 32 games and had two nine-point performances against Providence and Little Rock.

The Milwaukee Panthers men’s basketball team competes in NCAA Division I as part of the Horizon League, according to their official website. The program operates from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Before college, Norman was ranked No. 89 overall by recruiting service 247Sports coming out of Worcester Academy and helped lead his high school team to a NEPSAC Class AA Championship while earning All-NEPSAC honors.
