UNC Wilmington Seahawks secured a narrow 8-7 victory over the Elon Phoenix in NCAA Division I baseball on Friday, March 13, at 6 p.m. Former Wisconsin Lutheran High School standout Mason Ruh is a member of the Seahawks’ roster.
The matchup took place at Bill Brooks Field and marked the first meeting between the two teams for the season.
Ruh contributed from the mound with 1.2 innings pitched and three strikeouts.
The Seahawks are set to play again on Saturday, March 14, at 4 p.m. at Bill Brooks Field, once again facing Elon Phoenix.
