Milwaukee made five three-pointers in total, including two by Jorey Buwalda, who scored 11 points. Grace Lomen led the Panthers with 15 points, and Cece McNair recorded 12 points along with six rebounds.

The Panthers’ only lead came early in the game when Buwalda hit a three-pointer for a brief 5-3 advantage. Scott responded for Wright State with her second three-pointer, putting her team ahead for good at 6-5. Payton Rechlicz tied the score at eight before Wright State went on a run, making three consecutive three-pointers to end the first quarter up 25-14.

Wright State extended its lead to as much as 20 in the first half and held a 42-23 advantage at halftime. Milwaukee narrowed the gap in the third quarter by outscoring Wright State 19-12 but could not sustain that momentum in the fourth quarter as Wright State regained control and closed out the game with a comfortable margin.

Rebounding was close between both teams; Wright State had a slight edge at 31-29. Turnovers proved costly for Milwaukee, as Wright State converted 14 Panther turnovers into 19 points while Milwaukee managed just five points off of Wright State’s 12 turnovers.

The Panthers are scheduled to play their final regular-season road game against Green Bay at the Kress Center on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
