Radio host Dan O’Donnell shared a video of Black Lives Matter supporters parading around Candy Cane Lane in Milwaukee over the weekend.

“Black Lives Matter goons are currently at Candy Cane Lane in the Milwaukee area and are terrorizing people who have come to look at the lights in a child cancer fundraiser,” O’Donnell tweeted. “Yes, Black Lives Matter goons are actually terrorizing a child cancer fundraiser.”

The 21-second video shows the supporters marching down the street with signs and one of the supporters dressed as Santa Claus. The supporters are heard chanting, “Black lives matter” and “Black children matter” as they walk down the street. They were holding signs and flags that said things like, “Black lives matter.”

O’Donnell also tagged Gov. Tony Evers in one of his tweets regarding the incident, pointing out that the group wasn’t following COVID-19 guidelines.

“Also, none of them appear to be following COVID protocols,” O’Donnell wrote. “@GovEvers, didn't you just tell us to cancel their Christmas plans because they could spread COVID? You going to denounce this super-spreader or nah?”

Candy Cane Lane was raising money for the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer, which residents of the area have done for the last 36 years.

People on Twitter had mixed reactions to the protest. While some didn’t see it as an issue, others were frustrated that the organization chose to interrupt the event.

One Twitter user responded to O’Donnell’s tweets, also upset with the organization’s decision to march during the fundraiser.

“Why do people continue to support them when they show that they are nothing more than criminal street Thugs who's only agenda is to disrupt & attack innocent citizens,” the user said to O’Donnell. “They don't care about social justice  &  have only damaged race relations to keep their agenda going.”
