Census Bureau: More women than men in Milwaukee in 2020

Of the 592,649 people living in Milwaukee in 2020, 51.7 percent (306,690) were women and 48.3 percent (285,959) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Milwaukee City Wire.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by 14,012. In the 65 and over age range, there were 35,822 females and 26,673 males.
