For Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo it’s all love.

“It's not work when the people you love are around,” Antetokounmpo recently posted on Twitter.

A two-time league MVP, the Nigerian-born star saw his comfort level grow by leaps and bounds earlier this month when the Wisconsin Herd, the G League affiliate of the Bucks, announced it has acquired Alex Antetokounmpo in a trade with the Toronto Raptors’ G League affiliate.

The deal officially lands the youngest Antetokounmpo brother in the same organization as older brothers Giannis and Thanasis.

Alex Antetokounmpo appeared in 15 games for the Raptors’ G League affiliate last season, averaging 2.6 points and 1.3 rebounds on 50% shooting in about 7 minutes per game. As part of the deal, which also landed the Herd a second-round draft pick in 2023, the team shipped Jalen Lecque to Toronto.

While the 20-year-old Antetokounmpo has yet to take the floor in an NBA game, Bucks fans had a chance to get a glimpse of him over All Star Weekend, when he joined brothers Giannis and Thanasis to compete in the Skills Challenge.

Fourth brother Kostas Antetokounmpo, who has played with the Lakers and is now a member of a pro team in France, is the only brother who hasn’t been a part of the Bucks franchise. But with three of the brothers now in the fold, the Bucks may not be looking to stop now.

Brewhoop.com notes there was a time when Alex Antetokounmpo was touted by the likes of his two-time MVP brother as potentially being the best of all the Antetokounmpos.
