A long-awaited report by Special Counsel John Durham was released May 15 that stated he felt the FBI rushed into investigating former President Donald Trump about Russian election interference in his 2016 campaign.

According to CNN, the final report about the 2016 Trump/Russia election allegations was about 300 pages and showed that the FBI did not possess enough evidence that Russia collaborated for an investigation to occur. The FBI should have implemented other measures before completing an investigation, the report stated. Talk show host Jay Weber of The Weber Show shared his thoughts on Twitter about the report's findings, criticizing the accountability of the scenario.

“In D.C., no one is ever held accountable,” Weber tweeted. “Three to 5 years too late, the Durham Report comes out. We're all supposed to be shocked and upset as the lefty liars are exposed, and no one will actually be punished or held accountable. It's the never-ending pattern of the swamp.”

According to Politico, the report was three years in the making. It also alleged that the FBI had double standards and that the bureau scrutinized the Trump/Russia allegations without having legitimate grounds. The report also said the FBI disregarded Trump’s political rival Hillary Clinton. Trump also spoke out on his Truth Social page.

“THEY ARE SCUM, LIKE COCKROACHES ALL OVER WASHINGTON, D.C.," said former President Trump in a post on Truth Social. "Congratulations to John Durham on a Report that is being praised for its quality, importance, and professionalism, by friend and foe alike!”

Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson, who is also running for president, also took to social media to advocate his feelings on overhauling the FBI.

“The Durham report today faulted the FBI for failing to uphold the integrity of the law," Hutchinson said in his Tweet. "This makes my call to reform the FBI and limit the breadth of its jurisdiction even more important. Great people. Just needs more focus and accountability."
