Free immunization clinics offered by MPS in September and October

Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is offering free immunization clinics in September and October for students who need to catch up on required vaccines. These clinics are organized in partnership with the City of Milwaukee Health Department.

The scheduled clinic locations and times are as follows:

- Bethune Academy, 1535 N. 35th St., on Friday, September 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

- Greenfield Bilingual School, 1711 S. 35th St., on Friday, October 4, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

- Northwest Health Center, 7630 W. Mill Road, on Friday, October 11, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

- Southside Health Center, 1639 S. 23rd St., on Saturday, October 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Vaccines required under state law for school or childcare attendance include polio; measles, mumps, and rubella; diphtheria; tetanus; and pertussis. Additional vaccines available at these clinics include COVID-19, flu, hepatitis A, and HPV; however, these are not mandatory for school entry.

Families seeking information about exceptions to vaccination requirements or wishing to check immunization records should contact their healthcare provider or the Milwaukee Health Department at (414) 286-6800.
