On Friday, the Milwaukee women's basketball team announced that Grace Lomen will join the squad for the 2024-25 season. Head coach Kyle Rechlicz expressed enthusiasm about the new addition, stating, "Our program got better today with the signing of Grace Lomen. She brings a high level of toughness and confidence every time she steps onto the court. Her great character will fit in nicely with the amazing young women we already have here."

Lomen has spent the last two seasons at Division II Parkside, where she contributed to 34 victories for the Rangers in Kenosha, Wisconsin. In her most recent season, she participated in all 28 games, averaging over 20 minutes per game and scoring 230 points at an average of 8.2 per game. Her field goal percentage was 43.2 percent with 79-of-183 shooting accuracy. Additionally, Lomen recorded 126 rebounds, 53 assists, 43 steals, and five blocks.

During her freshman year in the 2022-23 season, Lomen made an immediate impact by scoring a personal best of 14 points in her debut game. She concluded that season with a shooting accuracy of 46.5 percent from the floor on making 59 out of 127 attempts for a total of 190 points. Her contributions also included tallying up to157 rebounds along with notable defensive statistics such as steals and blocks.

Beyond athletics at Parkside, Lomen was selected for participation in the NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum held at NCAA Headquarters in Indianapolis during her freshman year and recently received Academic All-District honors from College Sports Communicators.

A native of East Troy, Wisconsin, Lomen attended Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha where she accumulated impressive stats including scoring over1 ,343 points across her high school career; notably achieving a career-high performance by netting37points during one standout game against Oconomowoc where she surpassed1 ,000career-points milestone mark within that same match-up event .
