The Milwaukee track and field team divided its efforts to participate in two separate events: the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina and the Warrior Invitational in Wisconsin. The Raleigh Relays were hosted by NC State, while Wisconsin Lutheran hosted the Warrior Invitational.

At the Warrior Invitational, Jack Misky stood out as the only Milwaukee athlete to secure a podium finish. Misky achieved second place in the javelin throw with a distance of 42.48 meters, equivalent to 139 feet and 4 inches.

Madison Hughes narrowly missed a podium spot in the 1500-meter run, finishing fourth with a time of 5:10.00. In the javelin throw, Ari Miller and Olivia Busch finished just outside the top three, placing fourth and fifth with throws of 32.30 meters (105 feet and 8 inches) and 30.80 meters (101 feet), respectively.

In Raleigh, on day one of the three-day meet, Tabitha Wechlo represented Milwaukee in the shot put event. Wechlo placed 19th with a throw measuring 13.32 meters (43 feet and 8.5 inches).

Looking ahead, several Panthers are scheduled to compete tomorrow, starting with Wechlo participating in the discus throw at 9:45 AM.

Milwaukee will also begin competition tomorrow at the Redbird Challenge hosted by Illinois State, focusing on men's and women's hammer throw events.
