The Milwaukee women's soccer team has made a significant impact in the Horizon League postseason honors. Lainey Higgins was named Player of the Year, Kayla Rollins received Offensive Player of the Year, and Parker Donahugh earned Goalkeeper of the Year, as announced by the league office on Friday.

The team's achievements include an impressive 9-0-1 record, securing the Horizon League regular-season title for the fourth consecutive year and ninth time in ten seasons. Eight student-athletes from Milwaukee were recognized, with six making it to the first team and one on the second team. This marks a new record for first-team selections in program history.

Higgins is now the ninth Panther to receive league Player of the Year accolades, following Rollins' achievement last year. Rollins has once again been awarded Offensive Player of the Year and is noted as only the second Panther to win this honor twice since Sarah Hagen's wins in 2010 and 2011.

Donahugh's recognition as Goalkeeper of the Year adds to MKE's list of honors in this category for three out of four recent seasons. Previous winners include Kendall Edwards (2023) and Elaina LaMacchia (2021).

In addition to these individual accolades, Anna Champine, Senya Meurer, Elizabeth Reece joined Higgins, Rollins, and Donahugh on All-Horizon League First Team while Ellie Rebmann was named on Second Team. Natalie Zodrow secured her spot on All-Freshman Team.

Milwaukee's head coach Steve Shelton from Detroit Mercy also received Coach of The Year award alongside other notable winners like Lydia Self (Defensive Player) from Northern Kentucky and Senah Hanes (Freshman) from Green Bay among others across different categories.

The complete list features various athletes across teams with notable performances throughout their season including sportsmanship awards given to players demonstrating exemplary conduct.
