The 1098-T student tax forms for the year 2024 are now available electronically. These forms are used to assess eligibility for claiming Education Tax Credits on Federal Income Tax returns.
Wisconsin Lutheran College has partnered with Maximus Federal to provide both electronic and paper versions of the 1098-T forms. Paper copies will be mailed around January 31, but eligible recipients can access their forms electronically immediately.
To obtain a 1098-T form online, students should:
1. Open a web browser and visit https://tra.maximus.com.
2. Click on the “First Time Students” button.
3. Enter their full first and last names along with the last five digits of their Social Security Number or WLC Warrior OneCard ID number.
4. Click "Submit."
If records exist, students will be guided to create an account following instructions on the website to retrieve their form at no cost. For those who encounter issues or if no records are found, assistance is available through the “Help” link in the left menu.
