Wisconsin Lutheran College (WLC) is set to honor actor and musician Dennis Quaid with the 2025 Divine Servant Award. The event will take place on May 30 at Discovery World in Milwaukee, starting at 5:30 p.m. The public can purchase tickets and reserve tables for the occasion.

The Divine Servant Award was created by WLC in 2017 to recognize individuals who demonstrate Christian servant leadership and values throughout their lives. Past recipients include former U.S. President George W. Bush, Tony Dungy, David Green, Tim Tebow, Kathie Lee Gifford, Kurt and Brenda Warner, and Steven Curtis Chapman.

Dr. Daniel Johnson, President of WLC, stated: “We look forward to a remarkable evening of exploring the fascinating career of Dennis Quaid as an actor and musician while leaning into his Christian faith and service.”

Quaid's career spans acting and music; he is also a singer-songwriter with extensive experience as a touring musician.

The community is invited to attend the celebration where Quaid will receive the award. Tickets are priced at $350 each, with options for sponsorships and VIP photo opportunities available.

The venue for the event is Discovery World on Lake Michigan, offering views of downtown Milwaukee. Attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, a three-course dinner by Bartolotta Catering and Events, followed by a conversation about Quaid’s life and career.
