Milwaukee – The Milwaukee Panthers volleyball team is set to welcome Annie Eschenbach for the fall 2025 season. Head coach Susie Johnson made the announcement on Tuesday, expressing enthusiasm about Eschenbach's addition to the team.

"We are so excited to add Annie to our program," stated Johnson. "She adds game experience and physicality to our team."

Johnson highlighted Eschenbach's strengths, saying, "Annie has tremendous power in her attack and will be a strong blocker for us. She will be a great fit to our already super competitive team."

Eschenbach joins from McHenry County College in Illinois, where she led the Scots with 493 kills (4.70 kills per set) and maintained a .263 hitting percentage as an outside hitter. Her performance also included leading the team with 82 blocks, alongside contributing 52 service aces, 116 digs, and eight assists.

Her accolades from the past season include being named an NJCAA First Team All-American and earning First Team All-Region and All-Conference honors. She was recognized as the Illinois Skyway Conference Player of the Year and was named McHenry’s Most Valuable Player.

The Scots concluded their 2024 season with a 28-5 record, securing a conference championship. During the Region IV Championship matches against Black Hawk College and Milwaukee Area Technical College, Eschenbach earned All-Tournament team honors with 38 kills and five blocks.

Prior to her time at McHenry, Eschenbach played for Benet Academy in Lisle, Illinois. She was part of the Redwings volleyball program that reached IHSA State Runner-Up status at the 4A level during her senior year. Additionally, she played for First Alliance's USAV 17 Open National Championship team.

After high school, Eschenbach initially signed with Xavier University in the Big East Conference for the 2023 season before transferring.

At Milwaukee, she plans to study communications while joining fellow incoming class members Braylin Bosetski, Julia Kellner, Josie Noble, Ella Schuetz, and Samantha Vanda.
