Milwaukee Public Schools (MPS) is set to host its annual Kindergarten Enrollment Fair on February 22, 2025. The event will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at North Division High School, located at 1011 W. Center St., Milwaukee.

The fair offers families the opportunity to explore various kindergarten programs available within MPS, including arts, bilingual programs, language immersion, Montessori, International Baccalaureate (IB), and STEM options. Over 100 schools that provide kindergarten for ages three to five will have staff present to discuss programs and answer questions.

Interpretation services will be available for attendees. Children are encouraged to attend so they can learn about school offerings in preparation for the fall term. Families are advised to enroll by March 17, 2025, for a better chance of securing their preferred school choice.

In addition to exploring educational options, the fair will feature activities for children organized by Milwaukee Recreation and other partners. These include games, face painting, crafts, and a story walk. Attendees can also register for door prizes such as movie tickets and museum passes.

The Milwaukee Health Department will be present to provide immunizations against diseases like measles and chickenpox. Sam’s Club is offering half-price memberships at its store on N. 124th Street.

MPS provides free breakfast and lunch for all students and offers before- and after-school care at many locations. Bus transportation details can be obtained from individual schools where uniforms may be required.

To apply on-site during the fair or for more information about enrollment requirements—including age eligibility—families can visit MPS's enrollment web pages or call 414-475-8159.
