The Milwaukee Panthers men's basketball team fell short in their quest for a weekend road sweep, losing to Robert Morris University 72-59 at the UPMC Events Center. The Panthers were close at halftime, trailing by just two points, but couldn't mount a successful comeback.

Jamichael Stillwell stood out for Milwaukee with a double-double performance, scoring 12 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He also contributed a career-high five steals and one block. Erik Pratt provided additional support from the bench with 13 points and five rebounds.

"We missed some shots, but give them credit, they were the tougher team," said Bart Lundy, head coach of the Panthers. "If we are going to win a championship, we have to be tougher in the lane."

Alvaro Folgueiras led Robert Morris with his own double-double, contributing significantly to their victory. The Colonials have been formidable at home this season with a record of 15-2.

Lundy acknowledged his team's shortcomings during the game: "We couldn't stop them at all...we made every mistake we could have made and inevitably that falls on me."

Despite various attempts to rally in the second half, Milwaukee could not overcome their deficit. Their shooting percentage was low compared to RMU's more efficient performance both from the floor and beyond the arc.

The Panthers now prepare for their final two regular-season games at home, starting with Oakland on Thursday evening.
