Cost of college went up for all students at Wisconsin Lutheran College

Tuition and fees rose 2 percent for 2018-19 at Wisconsin Lutheran College, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $29,725 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $585 more than the $29,140 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 232 students received grants or scholarships totaling $4.5 million and 192 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.3 million.

Including all undergraduates (1,248), 916 students used grants or scholarships totaling $16.4 million, and 765 students took out $5 million in federal student loans.
