The Milwaukee Choice Neighborhood Initiative is holding a business summit in collaboration with the City of Milwaukee in order to jumpstart the local economy and business community after the COVID-19 pandemic, according to the organization's website.
The Choice Neighborhood Initiative Love and Revive Business Summit will take place on July 29, from 9 a.m to noon at Victory Manor, 5556 N. 68th st.
"Local businesses are vital to our neighborhoods," Mayor Tom Barrett stated on Twitter. "The Live & Revive Business Summit on July 29 from 9 a.m. to noon will provide valuable information, resources and networking to help businesses stabilize and grow while navigating pandemic recovery."
According to the Milwaukee Choice Neighborhood Initiative, the objective of the summit is to have as many companies as possible establish a cohesive and ecologically friendly neighborhood that supports local housing and schools.
The business summit will also concentrate on reviving and assisting start-up companies after setbacks caused by the pandemic.
The Milwaukee Choice Neighborhood Initiative is an organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing the development of Westlawn Gardens and surrounding neighborhood communities, according to Eventbrite.
