MATC to Offer Public Vaccine Clinics Aug. 31 and Sept. 7

Issued the following announcement on Aug 25.

Room 488, 816 W. National Ave.; both Johnson & Johnson and Pfizer vaccines. 

Spanish-speaking staff will be available to assist at the Walker’s Square clinic. 

No pre-registration is required, but Spanish speakers with questions prior to the event may contact Dr. Wilma Bonaparte, executive director, MATC Mequon Campus, (262) 238-2276.

 Attendees receiving vaccines at Walker’s Square will be eligible for the State of Wisconsin $100 prepaid Visa card incentive for individuals getting their first vaccine by Labor Day, Sept. 6. Individuals must request the reward by going to the DHS Reward Sign-up page or calling 844-684-1064 (both the website and the phone number offer multiple languages). Also, the first 34 people receiving vaccines at Walker’s Square will receive tickets for the Milwaukee Brewers Sept. 8 game.

MATC Downtown Milwaukee Campus, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Sept. 7:

 Room M605, Main Building, 1015 N. 6th St.; Pfizer vaccine only.

 Free vouchers for the parking structure at North 8th and West State Streets will be available.

 Walk-in are welcome, but you may pre-register at https://tinyurl.com/4wk7nbdv.The one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine is recommended for individuals 18 and over; and the two-dose Pfizer vaccine may be administered to anyone 12 years of age and up with parental approval. Vaccines are free, but please bring your insurance card. Snacks and wellness kits will be offered at both clinics.
