While Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is viewed as the biggest reason for the reigning NBA champions’ success, there’s more to the plethora of victories than just the big man colloquially known as “The Greek Freak” himself.

As shown in the Bucks’ Dec. 12 112-97 road victory over the New York Knicks, Milwaukee is rich in depth and offensive power.

NBA.com reported that seven Bucks players tallied double-digit points in the win, with Khris Middleton, the franchise’s newly crowned recordholder in three-point shots made, leading the way with 24.

Antetokounmpo achieved his first triple-double of the season: 20 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.

New Buck Rodney Hood, who was released by division rival Toronto, contributed to the scoring onslaught with 14 points.

“Today is Rodney Hood’s first double digit scoring game with the Bucks,” Dalton Sell, who co-owns the website Behind the Bucks, tweeted postgame.

Bobby Portis Jr. scored 19 points, Jrue Holliday dropped 13, Grayson Allen put up a dozen and Pat Connaughton rounded out the double-digit point deluge with 10.

Milwaukee made easy work of the Knicks since tip-off, holding the lead all the way without any deficits or ties, according to NBA.com.

"We talk a lot about being unselfish and making the right play, having high-IQ guys that are willing to make the right pass," Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer told NBA.com. "It was a good team effort."

The Bucks capped their four-game road trip with a 117-103 loss to the Boston Celtics.

Five players had a double-digit scoring night for Milwaukee, with Antetokounmpo and Holiday combining for 40 points with 20 each.

Budenholzer acknowledged after the loss that Boston did all the right things to win and his team has to improve.

"You have to give credit to those guys, and we weren't at our best," he told NBA.com. "Whatever the reasons are, we've got to be better."

As of this writing, the Bucks look to returning to their winning ways against the Indiana Pacers at home on Dec. 15.
