City of West Allis issued the following announcement on May 31.
The Department of Public Works Forestry Division provides staff support for the Public Beautification Committee and sponsors the annual awards for Best Porch, Patriotic Display, and Commendable Property. Properties selected are honored at a ceremony in September. In addition to the award, a sign is posted at each property, and the City’s Communications Department creates a video highlighting each property. Videos may be viewed on our City YouTube channel, the City channel, and on the City website.
Nominate your favorite properties at westalliswi.gov/beautification.
Nominations Due:
Commendable Property: June 15 Deadline
Best Porch: July 15 Deadline (Patriotic Display: three business days prior to Memorial Day, Flag Day, and Independence Day.)
The Beautification Program shows West Allis citizens and visitors that the City recognizes the importance and value of keeping our City beautiful. Take pride in the appearance of your property and make West Allis an even better place to live!
