BlueWirePods Network Coordinator Ti Windisch is a fan of the Milwaukee Bucks' move to extend guard Pat Connaughton.
But he still wants more.
“Now announce the Khris Middleton extension so I can post about the core being locked in for at least 3 more years please,” he recently posted on Twitter.
ESPN reports that the 29-year-old Connaughton had already announced he planned to pick up his option with the team for the 22-23 season when the two sides released details of the extension that will make the veteran swingman a part of the mix for the next four years at a total cost of $34 million.
A 2015 second-round draft pick out of Notre Dame, the 6-foot-5 Connaughton enjoyed his best NBA season this past season, averaging 26.5 minutes per game and shooting a blistering 39.5% from behind the three-point line, solidifying his place in the rotation and emerging as one of the team’s most reliable performers.
After missing 10 games late in the season with an MCL sprain in his left knee, Middleton recently had surgery on his left wrist. While the surgery surprised some fans since there was no known injury to the wrist, it is not thought to be serious as Middleton was recently spotted at a Milwaukee Brewers game.
