Esyah Pippa-White of Portland, Oregon, has signed with the Milwaukee men's basketball program and will play for the Panthers beginning this fall, head coach Bart Lundy announced today.

Pippa-White joins the MKE roster after most recently playing at Odessa College in Odessa, Texas.

The 6-foot-2 guard averaged 10.1 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, helping lead the team to a 26-9 overall record and advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2024 NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. He concluded the season by earning Western Junior College Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year honors.

"We are so excited to add Esyah to our program," Lundy said. "He is a talented player who is also a great student, hard worker, and displays high character. His skill level and ability to play multiple positions make him a huge asset. The West Texas junior college league was arguably the best in the nation last season and for Esyah to be named Freshman of the Year speaks to the level of respect those coaches had for his abilities. We are thrilled to welcome him to Milwaukee."

A true freshman last winter, he appeared in all 35 games, scoring in double figures on 17 occasions, including a season-best 27-point performance against Adams State in early December. He shot 74.2 percent (98-of-132) from the free-throw line and finished third on the team in scoring.

Pippa-White was a four-year starter at Gresham High School, averaging 24.6 points per game as a senior while earning Second Team Class 6A All-State accolades. He received First-Team Mt. Hood Conference postseason honors multiple times and was named league Player of the Year as a sophomore. He also played club basketball for Elite 24.
