MILWAUKEE – After qualifying and competing in the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the 100m hurdles on June 28 and 29, Milwaukee senior Natalie Block and track & field head coach Andrew Basler discussed their experiences with Matt Menzl of the Black & Gold Network.

Block reflected on her qualification for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials, her participation in the NCAA Preliminary Rounds and Championships, her workout regimen, and what motivates her through the challenges of being an athlete.

Basler shared his perspective on coaching Block and elaborated on her development as a student-athlete during her time at Milwaukee.

Block advanced to the semifinals at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, finishing 24th while competing against top athletes from across the United States.
