Both the Milwaukee women's and men's soccer programs have been honored for their academic achievements by the United Soccer Coaches.

Each received the College Team Academic Award, recognizing their exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2023-24 academic year, announced earlier today.

The MKE women finished the 2023-24 academic year with a 3.67 grade point average, while the men wrapped up the academic year at 3.36.

A total of 405 soccer teams (168 men, 237 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2023-24 academic year. Of that total, 102 schools had both their men's and women's programs recognized.

United Soccer Coaches annually celebrates the academic achievements of teams whose student-athletes collectively demonstrate a commitment to excellence in their studies over the course of a full academic year.
