Opened in July 2023, the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin Center (OHOW Center) is a 16,000-square-foot addition to the Klotsche Center & Pavilion at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. It primarily serves the Panthers men's and women's basketball programs. The facility includes a full-sized basketball court, a strength and conditioning center, a video/film room, an auxiliary sports medicine and treatment center, and a student-athlete lounge.

The Milwaukee Business Journal recently recognized this new facility with its Real Estate Award for "Best New Sports Facility." The awards were announced in their April 26, 2024 issue.

"We are excited about the addition of the new OHOW Center and how it will help our student-athletes to compete at a high level," said Cathy Rossi, deputy athletic director and lead administrator on the project. She added her gratitude towards "the Milwaukee Business Journal and the judges who participated in the awards selection" as well as acknowledging "all the great work put in by everyone involved in this project including JP Cullen, HGA, and the State of Wisconsin."

The Milwaukee Business Journal Real Estate Awards have been running for eight years. They highlight significant real estate deals and projects completed in 2023, focusing on community impact and project success. This year saw over 50 projects submitted from various counties including Milwaukee, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha.

Past winners include major projects like Fiserv Forum and Northwestern Mutual's corporate headquarters. For 2023, Milwaukee Tool's downtown location was named Project of the Year.
