The latest episode of "PounceCast," a podcast dedicated to sharing stories from Milwaukee Panther Athletics, is now available. The show, hosted by Matt Menzl, provides listeners with insights from significant figures within the Panther community.

This episode features an interview with Milwaukee men's basketball head coach Bart Lundy. In his first two seasons, Lundy has led the Panthers to consecutive 20-win seasons for the first time since 2004-05 and 2005-06. This achievement makes him the first head coach in two decades to record over 20 victories in his initial two years.

Last winter, the team nearly reached the NCAA Tournament but fell short in the championship game. Despite challenges like injuries to key players, they managed a 20-15 overall record. The team set new records in several categories, including total points and field goals made. They also achieved their highest scoring average since the early '90s at 79.5 points per game.

"PounceCast" was launched by the Milwaukee Athletic Department as a monthly feature starting January 2023.

Previous episodes have included interviews with various members of the Milwaukee athletics community such as track & field head coach Andrew Basler and former baseball player Trevor Schwecke.
