The latest installment of "PounceCast," a podcast dedicated to Milwaukee Panther Athletics, is now available. Hosted by Matt Menzl, the series provides insights and stories from key figures within the Panther community.
This episode features Joah Tucker, a notable figure in Milwaukee men's basketball history. Standing at 6-foot-5 as a guard/forward, Tucker played a pivotal role in leading Milwaukee to three postseason appearances during his three-year tenure. In the 2005 NCAA Tournament, he averaged 25.3 points per game, contributing significantly to the Panthers' journey to the Sweet 16.
Throughout his career with the Panthers, Tucker started all 94 games and ranks eighth on the school's all-time scoring list with 1,416 points. He maintained averages of 15.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game. His accolades include being named twice to the First Team All-Horizon League and earning Most Valuable Player honors in the 2005 Horizon League Championship.
The podcast series was launched by the Milwaukee Athletic Department in January 2023 as a monthly feature.
