This recognition marks Peppler's first Horizon League Player of the Week award after receiving Freshman of the Week honors twice during her rookie year on January 9 and February 20.

She is now among three Panthers who have received Horizon League honors this season. Kendall Nead was named Player of the Week on December 18 while Jorey Buwalda earned Freshman of the Week titles three times on November 27, January 8, and January 15.

Milwaukee concluded their regular season with a record of sixteen wins and fifteen losses overall and a ten-win ten-loss record within Horizon League games. The Panthers will enter as fifth seed in the upcoming Barbasol Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship where they will face fourth-seeded Wright State on Thursday at Nutter Center.
