Head coach Mark Goldin has announced new additions to the Milwaukee women's tennis team for the upcoming school year. Honoka Yamashita and Elisa Rubio have signed on to play for the Panthers, joining Nikola Nikolajeva, who committed in December.

"I am excited to be adding so much new talent to the roster for Fall 2024 with the three new Panthers joining the family," Goldin said. "These are all great tennis players and good people and will be great additions for us both on and off the court."

Yamashita hails from Japan with a Universal Tennis Rating (UTR) of 8.7 in singles. Rubio comes from France with a UTR of 7.9 in singles. Meanwhile, Nikolajeva arrives from Riga, Latvia, boasting a UTR of 8.6 in singles and 8.5 in doubles.

The UTR Rating is a global system developed by UTR Sports to ensure fair and competitive play across all levels of tennis worldwide. It evaluates players based on actual match results without regard to age, gender, or location.
