The Milwaukee track and field team is set to participate in their final two regular season meets this weekend. Competitors will attend the Drake Alternative on Thursday, followed by the Clark Wood Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

The Drake Alternative, hosted by Whitewater in Wisconsin, is a one-day event starting at 11:00 AM with the men's high jump. Events will continue throughout the day.

The Clark Wood Invitational takes place in Louisville, Kentucky, from Friday to Saturday. The meet begins at 11:00 AM on Friday with the men's hammer throw and concludes with the men's 4x400m relay at 5:30 PM on Saturday.

Last weekend, the Panthers competed at the Gibson Invitational and Green & White Invite, securing eight victories across both events. Caleb Henry won in the 400m and was part of the winning 4x400m relay team. Kalea Weyenberg took first place in both the 100m and 200m races.

Natalie Block set a new program record in the 400m hurdles with a time of 58.34 seconds, finishing second. She also secured second place in the 100m hurdles. Caleb Henry's performance in the 400m earned him fifth place on Milwaukee's all-time list with a time of 47.51 seconds. Cloey Fare also achieved fifth place on that list for her time of 14.01 seconds in the 100m hurdles.

Kortnie Volk led a sweep of Milwaukee athletes in the heptathlon at Gibson Invitational, achieving a score of 4690—the sixth best in Milwaukee history—followed by Anna Szepieniec and Kallie Volk who placed second and third respectively.

Caleb Henry received Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Men's Runner of the Week honors after his league-leading performance in the 400m dash and as part of Milwaukee's top-ranked 4x400m relay team.

After this weekend's meets, Milwaukee will compete next at the Horizon League Championships from May 3-5 in Rochester, Michigan. The women's team aims to defend their indoor championship title while ranked #1 preseason, whereas the men aim to improve upon their runner-up finish from indoors as they enter ranked #2 preseason.
