Milwaukee's men's and women's swimming and diving teams are set to return to competition this weekend. They will face Illinois State and Green Bay in two separate meets on Friday and Saturday.

The diving teams will compete against Illinois State at the Walter Schroeder Aquatic Center in Brown Deer on Friday. The event is a diving-only meet, with dives scheduled to begin at 12:00 p.m.

On Saturday, Milwaukee will travel to the Peter F. Dorschel Natatorium in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This marks their last road meet before the Horizon League Championships scheduled for February. Events will start at 1:00 p.m.

Illinois State's team comes into Friday's match with a record of 4-1, having secured victories over Eastern Illinois, Ohio, UIC, and Northern Iowa. Notably, Eva Reyes from Illinois State has been recognized twice as Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week this season.

Green Bay previously faced Milwaukee during the Wisconsin Showcase on October 21st. Although no team scores were recorded then, Milwaukee performed strongly by winning multiple events throughout that day. The Phoenix men's team currently holds a record of 3-1 while the women's team stands at 2-3.

In their most recent outing in mid-November at the IUPUI House of Champions Invitational, Milwaukee finished second on the women's side and fifth on the men's side over three days of competition.

Following this weekend's meets, Milwaukee will have two more dual meets before participating in the Horizon League Championships. These are set for February 2nd and 3rd against St. Thomas and Stevens Point at Klotsche Natatorium.
