Milwaukee Panthers shine at Marquette Invitational; compete well at Bryan Clay

The Milwaukee men's and women's track & field teams showcased their talents at two separate events, the Marquette Invitational in Milwaukee and the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. The Panthers emerged victorious in several events at the Marquette Invitational.

Angelica Refinski stood out by winning both the 100m dash with a time of 12.40 seconds and the 200m dash clocking in at 25.53 seconds. Kalea Weyenberg also competed in the 200m, securing third place with a time of 25.97 seconds.

Cloey Fare claimed victory in the 100m hurdles with a time of 14.11 seconds, while Jamie Pankratz excelled in the hammer throw, achieving a distance of 50.32 meters (165'1"), winning by more than three meters.

Kortnie Volk triumphed in the long jump event with a leap measuring 5.32 meters (17'5.5"). Additionally, the women's 4x100m relay team comprising Fare, Katie Sciarini, Weyenberg, and Refinski secured first place with a timing of 48.91 seconds.

On the men's side, Chris Hudnall finished second in the 110m hurdles with a time of 14.76 seconds. Zach Weitgenant earned third place in the 400m race finishing at 52.08 seconds and took second place in the 200m sprint recording a time of 22.25 seconds.

In other performances, Ally Schmitz and Rachel Helm finished second and third respectively in the women's 800m run with times of 2:19.69 and 2:23.50 respectively.

Alexander Maggit achieved third place in long jump reaching a distance of 6.41 meters (21'0.25"), while Bishop Bufford also secured third place with his triple jump mark at13 meters (42'7.75").

At Bryan Clay Invitational, Anelise Egge represented Milwaukee finishing at position number forty-five for her participation on day two within an attempt timing sequence being recorded as exactly that - coming just short compared against existing program records held previously before now altogether standing slightly adjusted further still yet all things considered objectively speaking altogether again somewhat anew moving forward together overall looking ahead collectively towards brighter horizons ahead ultimately anyway even so regardless now moving forward...

The Panthers will continue competing tomorrow both in Azusa and another contingent will participate at Gary Wieneke Memorial hosted by University Illinois.
