Natalie Block set a new record for Milwaukee in the 400m hurdles at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California. Her time of 58.67 seconds earned her third place. Block also secured fourth place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.52 seconds.

Anelise Egge improved her ranking on Milwaukee's top-ten list for the 1500m run, achieving a time of 4:32.16 and moving to fourth on the list.

Head coach Andrew Basler remarked, "It was a mixed bag of results, which can be expected when you're traveling this far for a meet." He added that despite uncertainties like weather conditions, he thought the group performed well and appreciated the exposure to different competition levels.

In Illinois, Will Mortimer claimed victory in the triple jump with a distance of 14.74 meters, tying him for eighth on Milwaukee's all-time list. Mortimer also finished seventh in the long jump with a mark of 7.23 meters, placing him seventh all-time at Milwaukee. Liam Richards followed closely in eighth place with a jump of 7.18 meters.

Basler commented positively on his athletes' performances at the Illinois meet: "I think a lot of our athletes took some good steps forward and performed really well today." He highlighted Mortimer's progress ahead of upcoming championships and noted strong performances from their throws group.

Tabitha Wechlo achieved second place in shot put with a throw measuring 14.38 meters. Several athletes recorded personal records across various throwing events, including Finnegan Shields, Jeremiah Johnson, and Jack Misky.

Dane Nelson placed fifth in the 110m hurdles with what is now ranked as Milwaukee's ninth fastest time at 14.42 seconds.

Basler also praised Jaelyn Reeves-Lile: "I thought (Jaelyn Reeves-Lile) had a really good day in both the 100m and 200m." Reeves-Lile recorded personal bests finishing twelfth in the 100m at 10.77 seconds and tenth in the 200m at 21.78 seconds.

The Panthers are scheduled to compete next Thursday at the Gibson Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana, continuing through Saturday, April 20th. They will also participate in Wisconsin Lutheran College's Green & White Invite on April 20th.
