The Milwaukee men's cross country team secured 10th place out of 18 teams at the John McNichols Invitational in Terre Haute, hosted by Indiana State. Leading the team was Aidan Sodemann, who achieved a personal best and program second-best time of 24:35.5 in the 8K race, placing him 14th among 257 runners. This performance ranks just behind Trevor Wenzel's record of 24:12.8 set last season.

"(Sodemann) had an outstanding day," head coach Andrew Basler commented. "I think he'll have a lot of momentum over this next month or so going into the league championships."

Cullen Boyle followed Sodemann with a career-best time of 25:01.4, securing the 43rd spot. Bryce Tome completed Milwaukee's top three finishers with his personal best time of 25:19.4, earning him the 59th position overall.

"I thought all of our guys ran well," Basler stated. "I was really happy with how they performed and proud of them for getting those career bests."

Milwaukee will compete next on September 23 in Platteville, Wisconsin, at the Pioneer Gender Equity Invite.
