The Milwaukee men's and women's cross country teams are preparing to compete at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria, Illinois. This event will be their final race before the upcoming conference championships.

The Panthers will face a competitive field of 59 programs, including NCAA Division I regional ranked teams and Horizon League rivals such as IUPUI and Oakland. Other Horizon League participants include Green Bay, Purdue Fort Wayne, and Northern Kentucky.

The event schedule includes several races: the men's 8K "white" race at 1:30 PM, followed by the women's 6K "white" race at 2:15 PM. The men's 8K "red" race is set for 3:00 PM, with the women's 6K "red" race concluding the day at 3:45 PM.

In their last outing at the Blugold Invite, Cullen Boyle led the Milwaukee men with a strong performance, finishing in 16th place out of over 250 runners. The team secured a fourth-place finish overall. Head coach Andrew Basler commented on their performance saying, "It was our most challenging course of the season so far," and expressed expectations for improvement at Bradley.

On the women's side, Anelise Egge and Cailin Kinas delivered top ten finishes in a field of more than 240 competitors. The team also achieved a fourth-place result overall. Coach Basler praised their mental engagement during races and looked forward to continued success at Bradley.

This meet serves as a crucial preparation step before the Horizon League Championships scheduled for October 28.
