Bryce Tome led the Milwaukee men's cross country team with a career-best time of 25:08.7, securing 52nd place out of 242 participants at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria. Tome's performance was within ten seconds of breaking into Milwaukee's top ten 8K times.

Following Tome, Aidan Sodemann finished 121st with a time of 25:53.9. Lucas Picco and Carter Eckhoff placed 129th and 130th respectively, with Picco achieving a new personal best at 26:00.5.

The team concluded the event in 22nd place, scoring a total of 564 points.

Associate head coach Jake Reilly stated, "As a team, we still haven't had our best weekend of the season yet. We've had some really good individual weekends, but I don't think we've had a complete weekend yet. That gives us a lot of excitement heading into conference in two weeks."

In the men's 8K white race, freshman Aidan Sosnowski finished in 48th place out of 178 runners with a time of 26:40.1, marking his personal best. Trey Meier and Wade Duffek also recorded new career-best times, finishing in positions 110th and 127th respectively. The team did not have enough participants to qualify for a team score in this category.

Head coach Andrew Basler commented on their performance: "The white race went very well. Their efforts were really good, and it showed with those career-bests." He added, "Overall, I think we know where we need to be going into the championship in two weeks. It's a much smaller race, so we know exactly where we need to be in the pack to perform how we want."

The Panthers will next compete at the Horizon League Championship meet on October 28th, hosted by Wright State.
