For the second consecutive meet, Bryce Tome has made his mark in the Milwaukee record books with a top-five all-time performance. This achievement took place at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional meet held in Madison.
Tome was the leading performer for Milwaukee, completing a 10K race in 31:30.8, securing 85th place overall and achieving the fourth-best time in Panther history. This event marked Tome's first 10K race for Milwaukee.
"Bryce has just been tearing up his fifth year and really coming into his own," said head coach Andrew Basler. "I thought the men closed out strong… It was a good experience to kind of learn how to run the 10K at that regional level and prepare them for next season as well."
Following Tome, Cullen Boyle finished with a time of 32:49.7. He was closely followed by Nate Griepentrog and Carter Eckhoff, who placed 165th and 176th with times of 32:56.3 and 33:17.1, respectively.
Lucas Picco, Sam Schreiber, and Aidan Sosnowski completed Milwaukee's participation by finishing in positions 183rd, 190th, and 202nd.
Unless they receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship meet, this event concludes the Panthers' season with three top-four finishes and a seventh-place finish at the Horizon League Championship.
