The Milwaukee men's cross country team concluded its 2024 season at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships in Norton, Ohio. Carter Eckhoff led the team with a notable performance, achieving the ninth-best 10K time in school history at 32:11.4. This marked his second top-10 program finish of the season after recording the 10th-best 8K time on October 18.

Head coach Andrew Basler expressed satisfaction with the team's progress, stating, "I thought both programs took necessary steps compared to our team finishes at the Horizon League Championships."

Sam Schreiber followed Eckhoff with an improved regional time of 32:38.9, marking his best 10K performance. Cullen Boyle completed his race in 32:50.8, while Aidan Sosnowski achieved a personal best of 33:18.3, surpassing last year's record by over a minute and a half. Will Whiteis finished with a time of 33:22.3.

Coach Basler remarked on the team's overall improvement: "Overall, the team put themselves in a better position at the start; a handful of men had personal bests in the 10K."

The Panthers placed 29th out of 31 teams in their region with a total score of 814 points.
