The Milwaukee track and field program has released its schedule for the 2024-25 season, featuring two home meets: the Tierney Classic on January 25 and the Panther Tune-Up on February 22.
The indoor season kicks off on December 13 with the Blue Demon Holiday Invite in Chicago, hosted by DePaul. In January, the team will participate in The Badgers Midwest Invite in Madison on January 11, followed by Purdue Fort Wayne's Mastodon Invitational on January 17-18.
Milwaukee will host its first home meet, the Tierney Classic, at the Klotsche Center on January 25. The team will then compete at Notre Dame's Meyo Invite from January 31 to February 1 in South Bend, Indiana. On February 8, they will attend La Crosse's Mark Guthrie Legacy Invite before traveling to Allendale, Michigan for Grand Valley State's Friday Big Meet on February 14.
The Panthers' second home meet, the Panther Tune-Up, is scheduled for February 22 at the Klotsche Center. This event precedes the Horizon League Indoor Championships in Fort Wayne, Indiana from March 1-2.
For the outdoor season starting in March, Milwaukee athletes will compete at North Carolina State's Raleigh Relays from March 27-29 and Illinois State's Redbird Challenge from March 28-29. April begins with participation in La Crosse's Ashton May Invite on April 5. Some athletes will attend Marquette Invitational in Milwaukee on April 11 while others head to Duke Invitational in Durham from April 10-12.
The team returns for Indiana State's Gibson Invite from April 17-19 and participates in La Crosse’s Phil Esten Challenge and Wisconsin Lutheran’s Green & White Invite on April 17. The month concludes with events like Drake Alternative hosted by Whitewater on April 25 and Illinois’s Gary Wieneke Memorial on April 26.
Before league championships, Milwaukee travels to Lexington for Kentucky’s Jim Green Invitational from May 2-3 and Madison for Wisconsin’s Badger Challenge on May 3. The Horizon League Outdoor Championships are set for May 9-11 in Youngstown, Ohio.
