The Milwaukee Panthers have once again demonstrated their prowess in track and field by sweeping the Horizon League's Track & Field Athletes of the Week awards. This marks the second time this season that Milwaukee has achieved this feat, following their performance at the Badgers Midwest Invitational.
Jaelyn Reeves-Lile was named Men's Track Athlete of the Week for the second time in the 2024-25 season. He previously received this honor on December 16. At the recent meet, Reeves-Lile secured first place in the 60m dash with a time of 6.83 seconds and set a new school record in the 300m dash with a time of 34.10 seconds, earning him second place.
Dominique Thomas, competing in her first meet of the season, was awarded Women's Track Athlete of the Week. She advanced from the preliminaries to finish second in the finals of the 60m dash with an improved time of 7.46 seconds.
Caden Thomas earned recognition for his performance in men's field events by winning first place in high jump with a height clearance of 2.00 meters.
Olivia VanZeeland rounded out Milwaukee's honorees as she achieved a personal best in women's high jump with a clearance of 1.70 meters, placing fourth overall and marking it as one of the top heights in program history.
The Panthers are set to compete next at Purdue Fort Wayne's Mastodon Invitational on January 17-18.
