The Milwaukee swimming and diving teams are set to compete at the Horizon League Championships in Indianapolis from February 19 to 22. The event will take place at IU Natatorium on the campus of IU Indianapolis and will be broadcast live on ESPN+. Competitions kick off on Wednesday with men's 3m diving, followed by the 200 medley and 800 freestyle relays.

In women's competition, Milwaukee has shown strong performances this season, winning both of their Horizon League dual meets. Gabrielle LePine stands out as she remains unbeaten in the 100 breaststroke this season. Her best time was recorded at the House of Champions Meet with a mark of 1:01.28. LePine's achievements have earned her four Horizon League Swimmer of the Week titles.
Janelle Schulz returns after securing podium finishes last year, excelling in freestyle events again this season. Skylar Ruggles and Mara Freeman are also notable competitors, holding top-three positions in backstroke events last year.
Lilly Nesson, Erika Thomas, and Hanna DeGrace aim to defend their previous podium spots in their respective events.
On the men's side, Milwaukee enters after splitting their league dual meets this year. Jay Jensen leads returning athletes with top-five finishes from last year's championships and holds school records in multiple events.
Ben Lorenz recently set a school record in the 50 freestyle with a sub-20-second performance. Freshman Caleb Carlisle has already broken records in butterfly events during his first championship meet appearances.
Gunnar Seversen is another freshman making waves, setting a program record for freshmen in freestyle distances and earning his first Horizon League Swimmer of the Week honor against Green Bay.
Qualified athletes will advance to the NCAA Swimming & Diving Championships scheduled for March 26-29 in Federal Way, Washington.
