The Milwaukee swimming and diving team concluded its 2024-25 season with notable performances at the Horizon League Championships, held from February 19 to 22 at IU Natatorium on the IU Indianapolis campus. The event saw both men's and women's teams achieving significant milestones.

The women's team finished as runner-up for the second consecutive year and third time in four seasons. Kyle Clements was recognized as Horizon League Women's Coach of the Year, his sixth time receiving this honor. The team set five new school records and two freshman records, winning three league titles—the most since 2017—and securing twelve top-three finishes overall.

On the men's side, Milwaukee achieved its best finish since 2015 by placing fourth. They set twelve new school records during the meet, finishing in the top three in six events. Freshman Gunnar Seversen stood out with exceptional performances, earning him the title of Freshman of the Meet.

Among notable achievements for women were Erika Thomas breaking a record in the 400 IM with a time of 4:20.57 and Maddi Hayashi setting a new freshman record in the 200 Butterfly at 2:01.50.
