Sen. Ron Johnson | Ron Johnson Official Website
U.S. Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin has joined forces with Senator Rick Scott of Florida and Representative Andy Harris of Maryland to address a letter to Senate Majority Leader John Thune and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. The letter urges them to resist any Democratic demands that might hinder President Trump's initiatives and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in their efforts to cut down on unnecessary federal expenditure.
The coalition aims to support President Trump in his mission to reform the existing systems in Washington, which have contributed significantly to the nation's $36 trillion debt crisis. The Republican leaders stress the importance of collaboration within their party to ensure that the President can continue his agenda and "Make America Great Again."
Alongside Senators Johnson and Scott, several other senators have backed this initiative, including Marsha Blackburn from Tennessee, Ted Budd from North Carolina, Cynthia Lummis from Wyoming, Bernie Moreno from Ohio, Mike Lee from Utah, Eric Schmitt from Missouri, and Tommy Tuberville from Alabama.
In addition to these senators, numerous representatives have also signed the letter. These include Andy Biggs of Arizona, Sheri Biggs of South Carolina, Andrew Clyde of Georgia, Clay Higgins of Louisiana, Paul Gosar of Arizona, Brandon Gill of Texas, Mark Harris of North Carolina, Andy Ogles of Tennessee, Anna Paulina Luna of Florida, Barry Moore of Alabama, and Ralph Norman of South Carolina.
