The Milwaukee men's soccer team is preparing to begin its 2025 spring schedule. Head coach Kris Kelderman announced that the season will start on Saturday, March 8, with a game against former Horizon League rival UIC at Engelmann Stadium. The match is scheduled for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
After a short break, the Panthers will remain at home to play against Parkside on April 5, with the game set to start at noon.
The team's schedule also includes participation in the newly established "Wisconsin Cup" series. This competition involves Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marquette, and Green Bay competing for state recognition. The series kicks off on Saturday, April 12, when Milwaukee will host two games. The first game features Marquette's Golden Eagles against Green Bay's Phoenix at Engelmann Stadium at 1 p.m., followed by a semifinal match between the Panthers and Wisconsin Badgers at 4 p.m.
The "Wisconsin Cup" concludes on April 26 in Madison, where UW will host the final events. A consolation match is planned for 1 p.m., followed by the championship match at 4 p.m., featuring the winners of the April 12 semifinals.
Coach Kelderman indicated that an additional game might be scheduled; however, details regarding time, date, and opponent are yet to be announced.
