The Milwaukee track and field teams will continue their outdoor season on Saturday at the Ashton May Invite, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. The event at Veterans Memorial Sports Complex will commence with field events at 11:00 a.m., and track events will start at 12:30 p.m.

Last weekend, the women's team competed at two separate events. Anelise Egge participated in the Raleigh Relays, where she set a new program record in her debut 5000m run with a time of 16:17.41, the fastest in the Horizon League so far. In the high jump, Olivia VanZeeland and Kallie Volk both cleared 1.70m, tying for the best height in the league. Katie Burns recorded the top 400m dash time with her run of 56.35. Meanwhile, at the Redbird Challenge, Cailin Kinas won the 3000m steeplechase in 11:10.35, with Sara Jochims following at 11:34.81, marking the ninth-best time in school history.

The men's team also had notable performances. At the Raleigh Relays, Divine Aniamaka excelled in the triple jump, achieving a distance of 15.30m, which ranks third in the school's history. Jaelyn Reeves-Lile led on the track with a personal best of 10.53 in the 100m dash and 21.12 in the 200m dash, both conference-leading times. Anthony Campbell began his outdoor season strongly, tying for the top mark in the league with a 7.41m leap in the long jump.

At the Redbird Challenge, Anthony Buford matched Campbell’s 7.41m in the long jump, placing him third on the program's leaderboard. Bishop Bufford claimed victory in the triple jump with a distance of 13.73m. In the discus, Josh Cygan and Jack Misky secured second and third places with respective throws of 50.34m and 49.27m.

Looking ahead, the Panthers will have a busy schedule next weekend. Some athletes will compete at the Duke Invitational in Durham, North Carolina, from April 10-12. Others will participate in the Marquette Invitational in Milwaukee on April 11.
