Speed and athleticism have been central to the success of the Rollins family across various sports. The patriarch, Fabian Rollins, showcased his capabilities on the track by representing Barbados at the 2000 Olympic Games. His daughters have inherited this speed and excel in their respective sports. Kayla Rollins stands out as a senior at Milwaukee, having become one of the most successful scorers in the women's soccer program's history.

Sharing her legacy at Milwaukee, Kayla scored 18 goals last fall, placing her just below the NCAA Division I leader, Kate Faasse of North Carolina. Her efforts resulted in seven game-winners and 39 total points, earning her the Horizon League Offensive Player of the Year title once again. Panthers coach Kevin Boyd praised her, saying, "Kayla is an exceptional athlete with added soccer skills and creativity — a perfect blend for a forward."

Kayla also participated in multiple sports during high school, which contributed positively to her soccer capabilities. Boyd emphasized the benefits of having multi-sport athletes, stating, "They have a better sense of movement and reading of situations," which he believes has enhanced Kayla's game.

Under Boyd's guidance, Kayla demonstrated consistent growth, especially evident during the latter stages of her college career. In her final season, she made notable contributions, including scoring three goals against Robert Morris and two in the Panthers' victory over Northern Kentucky, helping her team secure a significant win in the 2024 final. Despite finishing the season with a 5-1 loss to Notre Dame, the Panthers achieved much under Kayla's leadership.

Looking beyond college, Kayla is pursuing a professional soccer career while interning with the Oak Creek Police Department as a criminal justice major. "Potentially, maybe I'll be a police officer. But right now, I'm focused on playing pro soccer," she stated.

Patrick Murphy, Kayla's agent, is actively working to secure opportunities for her in the USL Super League. He believes her scoring ability and work ethic set her apart and that her skills are highly sought after by teams. "She's a very dynamic scorer," he stated, emphasizing that her ability to finish in critical play scenarios is a valuable asset.

Coach Boyd is confident in her professional prospects, asserting, "She has both the athleticism and skill to play at the next level."
