The Milwaukee men's track and field team concluded their participation at the Gibson Invitational hosted by Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana. The final day's events saw several Panthers achieve notable results despite challenging weather conditions.

Divine Aniamaka led the team with a victory in the triple jump, achieving a leap of 15.11 meters. Head coach Andrew Basler noted, "We definitely faced some adverse conditions with the cold and rain but I thought we got a lot accomplished and performed really well."

Caden Thomas excelled in the high jump, clearing 2.03 meters to secure third place, which ties him for tenth on the program's all-time outdoor leaderboard. "I thought Caden looked really good in the high jump getting some strong looks at a PR," Basler added.

In the long jump, Anthony Campbell achieved a distance of 6.88 meters and claimed third place. On the track, Iyimi Fagbamiye finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 14.48 seconds. In the 100-meter dash, Jaelyn Reeves-Lile finished 10th among 56 competitors with a time of 10.93 seconds.

Carter Eckhoff led the team in the 1500-meter run with a time of 3:53.82, and Anthony Buford improved his personal best in the 400-meter dash to 49.49 seconds. Milwaukee finished tied for fourth place out of 27 participating programs, accumulating a total of 47 points.

Looking ahead, the Panthers will participate in two more meets the following weekend. They will begin with the Drake Alternative hosted by UW-Whitewater on April 25 at Rex Foster Track Complex in Whitewater, Wisconsin. The team will then compete in the Fighting Illini Twilight at Demirjiran Park in Champaign, Illinois, on Saturday.
